Local Winds - In the World of Ours...

This latest project by Scott Dickson's Local Winds is a delicate submersion into a perfect serene world. Romantic and divine with beautiful washes of synth and lush pop elements. Light, airy and unburdened by the soulless transformative principles of modernity. Comes on a beautiful lavender cassette or a 3" CD.

Water Lily Jaguar - Kipona Aloha for the Reef Spirits

Furious swarms of fragile crystalline melodies circling faster and faster in polyphonic bliss. Each seamless side of this masterfully-crafted cassette ushers the listener into a world of daintily majestic synth peppered with subtle textures of sonic shrapnel. 40 minutes of raw serenity enveloped in a slipstream of enchantment.

Other mammoth works of psychedelia can be found at Sacred Phrases.

Hobo Cubes & Aradia - Split Cassette

An epic, mind-expanding adventure full of unfamiliar textures, unexpected turns and dances with death. A perfect soundtrack to accompany stumbling through gritty back alleys at sunrise in a post-apocalyptic world. A numbing fusion of synth cacophony.

This cassette charted for a few weeks on KZSU's experimental top 10. Check out the full track-by-track review on the main KZSU music website.

You can find other Hobo Cube releases, hypnotic artwork, free jams, and all sorts of other Canadian goodies at the Hobo Cult Records homepage.

Sanity Muffin Label Sampler

90 minutes of free-flowing abstract beats, soothing ethereal sound saunas, and bizarre alien wake-up alarms. This sampler is a dizzying array of post-everything experimental symphonies with an all-star artist line up worth losing drool over. Earth-shattering foundsound collages and metallic beats glittering amongst heaps of post apocalyptic slag. Mesmerizing.

Raw tranquility and infinite resignation.

You can find it along with other great fall releases at Sanity Muffin.
